DueSafe Terms of Service

Account, subscription, cancellation and customer responsibilities for DueSafe by LPC.

Who provides DueSafe

DueSafe is provided by London Property Compliance LTD, company 17021630, registered office London, United Kingdom. Contact info@lpcuk.uk or 0330 059 0555. These terms apply to the portal. Inspections and other LPC property services are separate orders.

Your account and access

Use accurate details and keep your sign-in credentials private. You must have authority to create the account and lawfully provide information about landlords, tenants and other people. Account owners control their team access and must remove users who no longer need it. Each branch uses its own account. Free access is available after LPC verifies an existing customer or agreed service relationship. There is no automatic minimum-booking promise. If that relationship ends, LPC will contact you before changing free access; you may choose a paid plan or request an export.

Monthly plans and payment

Portal-only plans cost £9.99 for up to 50 active properties, £19.99 for up to 100, or £29.99 for unlimited properties per month. All plans provide the same portal features. Prices shown are the total monthly portal charges; additional VAT is not added at checkout. Tax treatment on separate LPC property services is shown on their quotations and invoices. Payment is monthly in advance through Stripe and renews automatically unless cancelled. LPC service invoices are separate. Reaching a property limit prevents adding more active properties, not removal of existing records; upgrade through your account before adding more.

Manage or cancel a subscription

Use Account → Manage subscription, payments & cancellation to update a card, view subscription invoices or cancel renewal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and access continues until then unless the account is suspended for a separate reason. For help or a cancellation request, email info@lpcuk.uk from the account email. Outside statutory rights, unused parts of a monthly period are not refunded. Failed or unverified payment can prevent workspace access; the account and billing page remain available to resolve payment. We do not promise a particular retry schedule.

Consumers and your statutory rights

Where you qualify as a consumer, you may cancel an online service contract within 14 days of entering it by emailing info@lpcuk.uk with your name, account email and a clear cancellation request. You may use: “I give notice that I cancel my DueSafe subscription, ordered on [date], account email [email], name [name], date [date].” Starting to use this ongoing service does not by itself remove that right. We do not treat an ordinary sign-up tick as a waiver. Statutory refunds and remedies take priority over these terms.

Dates and customer responsibilities

DueSafe organises entered records and dates. It does not inspect a property, validate the legal adequacy of a certificate or decide which obligations apply. You remain responsible for checking dates, required documents, access arrangements, legal duties and completing necessary work. Reminders depend on recorded information, enabled settings and email delivery; they are an aid and are not guaranteed. Keep an independent schedule for critical obligations. Do not upload unnecessary identity, health or other sensitive material.

Availability and acceptable use

We use reasonable care and skill to operate the service and investigate reported faults. Maintenance and provider outages can interrupt access; no guaranteed uptime is offered. Do not use the service unlawfully, attempt unauthorised access, send malware or share another business’s information without authority. We may restrict an account to protect data, address abuse, meet legal obligations or resolve payment issues. We will give notice where lawful and practical.

Your data and closure

You retain rights in your uploaded material. For customer portfolio data, the Data Processing Agreement at /dpa applies. Contact support to request a return or deletion of your portfolio and to arrange closure; account ownership must be verified. Export available records before closing. We will agree a return/deletion timetable and explain any legally necessary retention. Do not assume that cancelling a payment automatically deletes your records. Account, invoice, security and backup records have separate retention as explained in /privacy.

Liability

Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Consumer statutory rights and remedies remain unaffected. For business customers, subject to those exceptions and applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising from or in connection with the portal is limited to £100. We are not liable for business losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or for your failure to act on obligations independently of the portal. This does not remove our statutory data-protection responsibilities.

Changes and governing law

We will give at least 30 days’ notice of material subscription-price increases, applying from a renewal after that notice. You may cancel before the change. Material terms changes will be notified and versioned; urgent legal or security changes may require shorter notice. England and Wales law applies. Consumers retain mandatory protections and any right to bring proceedings in the courts of their home jurisdiction. Contact us first about a complaint.
